Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The price of gold produced by PT Aneka Tambang (Antam) Tbk. or known as Antam gold is observed to strengthen in trading on Thursday (12/12/2024).
Quoting data from PT Antam’s official website, logammulia.com, at the LM Graha Dipta Pulo Gadung Jakarta gold boutique, the price of 1 gram gold today is pegged at Rp 1,548,000 per bar, up Rp 14,000 from yesterday’s position at Rp 1,534,000.
Meanwhile, the buyback price of Antam gold in the morning today is at Rp 1,399,000 per gram, up Rp 15,000 from yesterday’s trading position.

The strengthening of Antam gold prices is happening amidst the still lively global gold prices in yesterday’s trading.
Referring to data from Refinitiv in yesterday’s trading, world gold prices closed up 0.9% at US$ 2,717.93 per troy ounce. Meanwhile, in Thursday morning trading around 08:40 WIB, gold tends to weaken by 0.27% to US$ 2,710.52 per troy ounce.
Gold prices regained momentum after the release of US inflation data for November 2024, which showed growth in line with market expectations.
The US Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that the Consumer Price Index (CPI) last month grew by 2.7% year-on-year (yoy), up from 2.6% in October.
Meanwhile, on a monthly basis, US CPI in November grew by 0.3%, up from 0.2% in October.
The CPI data in the US last month, both on an annual and monthly basis, were in line with previous market expectations.
